A vertical vibrating destemmer: clusters travel down a vibrating chute where discs with flexible fingers release the berries onto a vibrating hopper with an adjustable spacing grid. It destems and sorts, or sorts alone, runs mechanically with no electronics, and stands on wheels. Socma publishes 9 t/h on hand-harvested grapes and 15 t/h on machine-harvested grapes, depending on variety and ripeness, with 3.2 kW absorbed on 380 V three-phase.
