Crossflow system for lees, recovering wine and juice without filter aid and with little oxygen pick-up; the wide-bore hollow fibres take solids to a final concentration of up to 80%. Pall builds the HS-A series as HS-4A, 6A, 12A and 24A; the HS-12A has 12 modules and 60 m2 of filter area, and Pall gives 1,200 to 2,400 L/h on lees and 3,000 to 5,400 L/h on wine.
